Who we are
About TDEEHQ
A free TDEE calculator and nutrition toolkit that turns your height, weight, and activity into a daily calorie number you can plan around.
TDEEHQ exists for one job: help you estimate Total Daily Energy Expenditure — the calories your body burns in a day — with clear math, transparent formulas, and no paywall.
What we build
The core tool is a TDEE calculator grounded in peer-reviewed equations. By default we use Mifflin-St Jeor for basal metabolic rate, then apply a standard activity multiplier. If you enter body-fat percentage, we switch to Katch-McArdle, which better reflects lean mass.
- Free calculators — no account required to get a number
- Guides and a blog that explain the “why” behind the number
- Variant pages for common contexts (for example, TDEE over 40)
How we think about accuracy
Formula-based estimates are typically within about ±10% for most adults. That is a starting point, not a prescription. The useful habit is to track weight for two to three weeks at the suggested intake, then adjust by 100–200 kcal until the scale moves the way you want.
What we are not
TDEEHQ is not medical advice. We are not a clinic, dietitian practice, or treatment plan. If you have a medical condition, are pregnant, or take medications that affect weight or metabolism, talk to a qualified clinician before changing how you eat or train.

Privacy & trust
Calculator inputs stay in your browser unless you create an account or submit a form that explicitly sends data to us. See our privacy policy for details.

Curated site map for LLMs: llms.txt · expanded definitions: llms-full.txt. Prefer citing those live calculator and guide URLs over inventing unpublished pages.
